LEND YOUR VOICE
If you were at ALA in Washington D.C. this year, you may have participated in or heard about Random House Audio's "community sourced" audiobook recording of The Wizard of Oz. We are pleased to announce that more than 300 people contributed to the production, narrating one page at a time. We wanted to extend a big thank you to all the volunteer narrators who were generous enough to lend their voices. The finished audiobook is available at www.firstbook.org for a suggested donation, with all proceeds going to First Book, a children's literacy organization that provides books to underprivileged children and their communities.
